Yes. A WhatsApp chat analyzer can compare sender counts, reply intervals and recurring exchanges in a TXT conversation export or supported ZIP. Grey Mirror asks you to confirm both participants and provides completely free initial analysis, no card required. Send timestamps are not read receipts, and missing messages cannot be recovered by the analyzer.
The whole history
The $17.99 complete report turns the whole conversation into a cinematic relationship story: Deep AI Analysis connects the measured patterns, Memory Lane brings back the turning points, and custom charts compare both sides across the full timeline. Preview your real story free. One payment. Grey Mirror Plus is optional.
Get your thread out of WhatsApp
You can export straight from WhatsApp. Choose "Without media" for a smaller text file. Before uploading, check the oldest and newest dates: a long chat may not fit in one export.
Check the file
Use the conversation export, not an account backup or a folder containing only photos. Keep an untouched original and check the dates against the history visible on your device.
Choose the question
Separate what the export records from what you remember. Reply intervals show elapsed time between messages; they do not reveal whether someone read a message or what they were doing during a gap.
Compare gaps with actual questions, plans and follow-through rather than relying on online status.
Check who starts contact, answers questions and reconnects, while allowing for calls and voice notes outside the text.
Read the new message alongside the earlier pattern and your boundary. A check-in cannot establish changed behavior.
What you get
The useful answers are comparisons across the whole thread, not verdicts about one message. These are the questions a full WhatsApp history can actually support.
Measures initiation, follow-up, and repair attempts per person so effort imbalance stops being a feeling and becomes a count.
Dates the point where reply timing, message length, or warmth measurably shifted, and names which of those moved first.
Compares what happens in the days after a fight — apology, follow-through, or a quiet return to normal without resolution.
One side repeatedly carrying questions, logistics, and follow-up is visible as a ratio across months, not a mood.
Warm replies followed by long silences look ambiguous in a screenshot and look consistent across three months of thread.
Repeated pressure, dismissal, or boundary testing is called from recurrence across the thread, never from one bad exchange.
The parser needs the same fundamentals as any full-thread report: who spoke, when, what they wrote, and what came next. A standard WhatsApp export keeps all four.
WhatsApp exports may omit media meaning, collapse reactions, include system rows, or contain deleted-message placeholders. We keep those gaps visible. We cannot read a missing photo or recover deleted words.
WhatsApp histories are useful when the question is about repeated behavior: pursuit and withdrawal, ignored bids, warm re-entry, pressure, future-planning avoidance, or whether a short reply pattern changed after conflict.
Yes. Start with completely free initial analysis of your supplied WhatsApp conversation, no card required. Read your own preview before choosing the optional $17.99 complete report. A monthly plan is optional too.
A standard TXT chat export does not contain the complete read-receipt or online-status history. Grey Mirror can calculate intervals from the send timestamps it recovers; it cannot tell when the other person read a message or why they waited to reply.
Open the chat. On iPhone, tap the contact name and choose Export chat. On Android, open the chat menu, then More, then Export chat. Choose Without media and save the text file. Check its first and last dates before uploading; older messages may be missing.
Without media. The analysis is text-first, the file stays small, and photos and voice notes are not read for meaning anyway. Exporting with media mostly makes the upload slower.
It can measure the observable side of it: who starts conversations, who asks questions back, how quickly each person replies, and whether warmth is returned or left hanging. That is evidence about behaviour in the thread, not proof of how someone feels.
No. This page does not claim media analysis. Text metrics rely on parseable text and supported metadata, and a thread that ran heavily on voice notes will show as thinner than it really was — the report marks that as missing context rather than reading it as silence.
Deleted-message placeholders explain missing context, but they are not treated as known message content. "This message was deleted" is a gap, not evidence.
They do not appear in the export at all. If a chat used disappearing messages for a stretch, that period will look quieter than it was, and confidence should reflect the gap.
Relationship routes work best for a clear two-person thread. Multi-person group context makes attribution and interpretation harder, and group-management events are not relationship signals.
It is your own chat data from your own device. Read the privacy and deletion pages for retention and deletion specifics before uploading, and remember an export contains the other person’s messages too.
Yes. Export the chat from WhatsApp, upload the file and preview your real relationship story free, with monthly plan optional. The complete report with the full timeline, Memory Lane, charts, metrics and evidence is $17.99 once.
It can show the patterns people use to judge that: who starts conversations, whether affection is returned, how reply timing compares on each side and when any of it changed. Those are evidence about behaviour in the chat. They cannot name what someone feels, and the report does not pretend to.

Use the platform’s documented process, with the text-focused option where appropriate.
Inspect the file’s beginning, end, sender names and dates before assuming the entire relationship is included.
Confirm the participants, then read the reported range and supporting exchanges.
Start your completely free analysis with no card required. Platform export limits remain input limits, even when the analyzer can process a large history.
